Are you a startup? And looking for useful tips on ways to successfully improve the sales of your products and services?

Making sales online isn’t as easy as it looks and I am here to tell you the truth. It takes a whole lot of time, effort, and consistency. But here are a few quick tips that may work even before you can build a ‘structure’.

1.BRAND TONE / VOICE

This represents your brand’s unique perspective, and the values you stand for. In other words, this is your brand’s overall personality.

Your tone includes the words on your designs, explanatory videos, and captions whether on social media pages or websites. Identify the brand tone that works in your industry and add some authenticity (personality). To ensure it best suits the target audience, you can cultivate a combination of tones, such as friendly and informative or warm and welcoming.

Aim to aspire, convince and be a thoughtful leader.

2. INVEST IN GOOD DESIGNS AND PRODUCT IMAGES:

Product design is the way you arrange the features and benefits of your product or services, to be presented to your targeted audience.

If you had a physical store, would you display your products in an unkempt environment? You would appealingly arrange those products. It’s the same thing as online marketing. Good designs and product images are what differentiates your brand from others and make your social media pages or website more inviting.

3. CONTENT MARKETING:

Content marketing is powerful, it’s also hugely competitive. Don’t do the same thing as everyone else.

So what tactics can you try?

  • Identify your target audience, their pain points, their needs, and then share helpful tips, information, and knowledge from your experience with the aim of teaching. This proves that you are an expert and your opinion can be relied upon.
  • Build a more targeted landing page
  • Craft content based on your core values
  • Conduct a competitor analysis
  • Segment audience from engagements

4. REVIEWS:

Reviews are a form of user-generated content, reviews show you are reliable and your product or services are excellent. Reviews will also help you optimize your customer experience to help create a positive online footprint.

Reviews are also essential in customers’ decision-making. When they want to know the best places to go, they’re more likely to turn to Google, Yelp, and Trip Advisor than they are to a newspaper or even their friends and family.

The way customers are talking about you is just as important as the fact that they’re saying your name. Having a highly positive footprint will eventually help you drive more sales.

5. POST FREQUENTLY AND ENGAGE:

Whatever works for you, depending on what you sell, make sure you can be seen. The marketing rule of 7, states that a prospect needs to hear and see your message at least 7 times before they will take action to buy that product or service. Don’t overwhelm yourself, but be consistent.
