Introduction
Small businesses that are owned by people who don’t really know their way around a computer. Will find it hard to increase their customer database. As only those around them, the locals will be interested or even know about them. With an odd person or two having heard of the business from a friend or family member.

What is Café Bella-Talia ?
Cafè Bella-Talia is a small business owned by a local Mr. Dee Naicker . The Café located in a small town of Umkomaas in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa ranges from a Places to get a quick coffee or tea, to getting a quick bite maybe a bunny chow, to buying your airtime. It has a welcoming atmosphere and the food has that authentic Indian flair that will have you coming back for seconds.
Goals:
Short term –
• Within the next three month their Instagram presence needs to grow by atleast another
50 -100 followers.
• Within the next month their Facebook needs to be updated and with new content.
Long term –
• Within 7 months they clients base should grown to 100 – 150 customers a day.
• Within 8 months they need to have hired someone to clean up, And someone to serve the customers. Afford 2 new hires.
• Within 10 months they need to be able to afford a new fryer and be able to set money aside for the following months new stock.
Planning for new content
I plan on creating some new and inviting content for the Café. Using the dishes served by the Café as the focus and inspiration. Start a Google My Business page for the Café. Also asking the customers when they are leaving to leave a review on the Café’ Google My Business page makes the Café ‘ online presence stronger.
Competition
There is two other stores that sell food and airtime. My aim to surpass them and turn Café Bella-Talia into the most frequented Café will be achieved. When the the Café social media presence grows and it would be solidified when the display advertising for the Café is complete, thus attracting more locals into the Café and with the word of mouth and social media presence it would take a while for the competitors to catch up.
Social media and which ones
Instagram would be a good platform to use as it has Instagram Insights which allows the owners to analyze their content and the activity on their page.
Facebook would be another great platform as the owners could use Facebook analytics to keep track of the activity on their page and track the engagement of the public.
Google My Business is also another helpful and easier way in making their Café visible online.
