MARKETING DURING THE OLDIES
10 years ago, things were much more simple. Just think about the fact that there were only a few smartphones to choose from, and the worldwide web really wasn’t that wide or connected as it is now. The information pool was nowhere near where it is now. To decide about purchasing a product or service was not as hard because the options to do so were very limited. Digital Marketing is something surreal during the oldies.
It took 3 to 4 years for the marketer to accept the new marketing era into their businesses. They were afraid that the new marketing evolution wouldn’t work during that time as the internet was yet used widely. Nothing happened with a perfect start at first, making digital marketing history before joining the marketplace in 1994.
THE EVOLUTION OF DIGITAL MARKETING
Now fast forward to 2020, and you literally have thousands of website options to help you decide about any one product or service. Over the last 10 years, the digital marketing industry has had to keep up with the constant state of technology changing and how people are changing with the technology.
With many software, medium, and social media, digital marketing has started to grow up over the years slowly. At first, people hardly try to accept the evolution of marketing. Today, digital marketing is the most powerful platform that it has taken over the world. With the global shortage of skilled digital workers, it’s time to reimagine workforce development programs and build a more inclusive future of work.
