You can create videos of exercises and show the dos and don’ts of them. More often than not, people perform exercises incorectly and if that goes unchecked, you will end up getting injured!
Begin working for a commercial gym

Commercial gyms usually are hiring all year round and as a new personal trainer, you can build your rapport by using the commercial gym’s clients and users there. Once you have build a good reputation, you can starting working at a privite gym or hold private sessions at home or online.
Give out discounts/free first sessions
A good way to get yourself out there is to offer a promotion of your services. You can give first time clients a discount or free first session so you can build that rapport. Through those clients, they are more likely to recommend your services to their friends and family. Just be careful with the discount and how many freebies you give. Your time is also very valuable and this strategy is only be used when you are just starting in the industry!
Making content is a great way to market yourself. A personal trainer’s job is to help the client reach their goals. A great platform to make content is Tiktok. Why? Because Tiktok has a short video format and people have short attention spans. Every video you make can be about an exercise or diet plan. The more you make content, the more you will attract an audience and gain clients.
You should choose strategies that you enjoy! Be flexible and adapt to seperate yourself from others! Personal training should be fun and exciting. The more enjoyment you find yourself in, the bigger impact you’re going to have on your client!
