I don’t need to tell you how great social media is for promoting your business or how cheap it is, we all know that and I bet you were just scrolling down Instagram 3 or 10 minutes ago (or at least I was). The advantages of this platform are well known but what is not, is how to use it for your profit and get the maximum amount of engagement you can and you have come to the right place!
While managing and promoting a business through Instagram might seem fun and easy, it requires a lot of time and commitment. This is mainly due to the large amount of competition in the platform, so for your content to actually reach a large number of users, you need to be strongly present and consistent. Here are three professional tips to learn how to do that and ace that Instagram game!
1. Create your content in advance and have a posting schedule:
In a place like Instagram, you’ll need to be posting every day or several times a day and that is the best, and maybe, the only way to generate traffic to your page. In order to do this, what we advise is to always create your content ahead of time and have it ready to post when you need it. Then, what is considered the most effective strategy, is to have a posting schedule that you need to make sure you are following. This will save you a lot of time and will make consistency easier.
2. Engage with your audience
When it comes to social media, people are not afraid to talk, criticize, and even bully, it’s all easier behind a screen. That is why engaging with these people is crucial for your image and credibility. Either it is positive comments or DM’s or negative, replying in a diplomatic and polite manner is your best chance here (better than blocking and ignoring).
1. Create “spontaneous” content:
“Spontaneous” contents are the stories and lives that you share with your followers but they do not have to be truly spontaneous. It is perfectly fine to plan and organize them before, though they do give a spontaneous feeling. This is what makes you or your content more relatable and real and therefore, more likely to draw followers to your page.
